Coriander Chutney is a very tasty recipe which can be served with rice or south Indian recipes like Dosa or Idli. Coriander Chutney can be used in Sandwich also. It is also known as Green or hari chutney, is a refreshing Indian condiment that goes with nearly everything from samosas to seafood to chaat. At its core, it is a puree of coriander, chilies and lemon juice with different regional variants calling for the addition of various spices and flavourings. Once made, this verdant chutney will keep for a week or two ,depending on how much salt and water you add. Keep it in a sealed container and it freezes well.
Ingredients for Coriander Chutney:
• Bunch Chopped Coriander leaves – 1
• Grated Coconut – ¼ Cup
• green chillies – 2
• roasted red chillies – 2
• Ginger paste – ½ tsp
• Garlic paste – ½ tsp
• small onion finely chopped – 1
• Juice of 1/2 a lemon
• Salt to taste
Preperation Method :
Blend all the ingredients in a mixie into a smooth paste. If necessary add little water or do a seasoning.
