Rava,Curd,mustard,Jeera,Chana dal,Green chillies,ginger,chopped coriander,curry leaves,oil
Main ingredients : Rava Idly
• Rava – 1 cup
• Curd – 1 cup
• Mustard – 1/2 tsp
• Jeera – 1/2 tsp
• Chana Dal – 1/2 tsp
• Green chillies (Chopped) – 1/4 cup
• Ginger – 1 tsp
• Chopped Coriander – 1 tsp
• Curry Leaves – 3 to 4
• Oil (preferably gingelly) – 2 tsp
• salt to taste.
Method of Preparation :
Heat the oil in a pan, and splutter in the mustard, jeera and chana dal.Add with chopped chillies,coriander, ginger and curry leaves.Now add the rava and salt and coat in the oil until lightly brown.Remove from fire and add the beaten curd, add water if required to make thick batter that you can scoop with your hand also.Fill in the idly maker and steam on high for 5-7 minutes.Serve hot with coriander chutney or with your much loved chutney.
