This pudina chutney recipe is a very quick and easy recipe. It can be served with Dosa, Poori, Chapati, Uttappa Akki rotti – Rice flour roti etc.Pudhina Chutney can also be made with coconut. How to prepare Pudhina Chutney:
Main Ingredients :
• Pudina leaves ( mint ) : 3 handfuls
• Mustard : ¼ tsp
• Black gram dal : 2 tsp
• Dry red chilli : 4
• Oil : 5 spoons
• Tamarind : a very small ball
• Asafoetida : a small piece
• Salt : as needed
Method of Preparation:
Wash the pudina, cut the roots and stem.
Heat half of the oil in a frying pan.
Add pudina leaves, fry and set aside.
Add the other half of the oil to the frying pan.
Add mustard, black gram dal, chilli, asafoetida and fry.
Grind pudina and the fried items with salt, tamarind and water.
